Overview/Introduction:
Operating since1986 and Incorporated in 1995, We are a Maori Health Provider based in Murupara, Bay of Plenty. We provide a range of health and community services for people residing in the ‘Te Ika Whenua’ area.
Situation prior to Mavim:
Staff unfamiliar with organization direction and processes. Quality Management system in the ‘hard to manage,lots of work’ basket, a recent audit identified non compliance issues.
Challenges:
Making our organization processes transparent and controllable.
Quality, compliance and change management issues.
Introduction of Mavim to the Business:
Online Search for a tool to assist and Mavim seemed to offer the best answer to our problems. Contacted Mavim September 2007 and attended the first NZ training session in Auckland in November 2007. Mavim software has been installed and we have had initial training and support sessions.
Outcome from using Mavim:
First sessions went really well. Have awaited our Board and Management review and sign-off of policies and procedures. Now look forward to working with the program and seeing how it will improve our operations.
Other Benefits:
Future publications of our manuals are versioned automatically and these will be easy to access.
