“Mavim builds up a picture of our organisation and allows us to see where the gaps are in our systems” – Marlene Perry, KC3Cfries from The Professional Bar and Restaurant School

Mavim helping a start up organisation:

King Country Collaborate Contact Centre (KC3C) is a project which has come about through consultation and commitment by the community of the King Country. KC3C is seed funded via New Zealand Trade and Enterprise Polytechnic’s Partnership Programme.

The aim is to establish a contact centre which can operate 24/7 to enable not for profit organisations and small businesses to communicate with their customers, distribute information and grow their client base.

KC3C is not for profit in itself as it aims to generate new business and re-skill a local unemployed workforce who may not be available for work full time, but could work consistently and proficiently part time over a 24/7 roster.

Mavim is helping this fledgling organisation to organise its policies and procedures and foundation documents in a manner which enables all involved to see transparently who is in charge of any procedure by asking the questions who, how, what, why and when. By asking these questions consistently against each item or topic, Mavim builds up a picture of our organisation and allows us to see where the gaps are in our systems.

What we expect Mavim will accomplish:

Publishing our future manuals will be easy with Mavim as each publication is versioned automatically, so we don’t have to go hunting for the latest version, yet we still have access to a previous version and the reasons why changes were made is documented.

Manuals can be published to a word document, PDF file or a website, at a click of a button. Staff photos and scanned information can sit easily within the Mavim system. Documents or video clips can sit within the system as an attachment.

Visio enables us to visualise a procedure and any type of document can be access through Visio or through the normal filing matrix.

Mavim holds up to 10 databases on one license which means that we can support other NGO’s or small businesses with their processes and procedures such as the local chapter of Kiwi Can Trust.

Interaction with Mavim:

Although this company is still in the start up phase Mavim has be able to expose several, otherwise unseen gaps in the service that KC3C supply.

“I am very confident that Mavim will be the ultimate solution to our problems and look forward to sharing it across the other brands we work with”. – Marlene Perry.

We have only been with Mavim a short period of time but have already found their service to be excellent. Mavim is easy to use meaning the person using it from day to day doesn’t need to be a computer technician.

The staff at Mavim in New Zealand are very helpful and supportive and are always willing to answer questions to ensure you get the most value and benefit from their product.

At the time of this going to print our relationship with Mavim is still really brand new so hopefully in the next edition we can update you further on exactly ‘how’ Mavim is making our lives much easier and our organisation more efficient.
